Join us for an immersive virtual cocktail experience inspired by the mood, flavors, and spirit of October.
As the days get shorter and the nights get a little darker, we’re leaning into everything we love about fall: rich spirits, warm spices, bitters, and cocktails made for slow sipping.
This is a relaxed, interactive experience focused on flavor, technique, and confidence behind the bar. Whether you’re completely new to cocktails or already building drinks at home, this class will introduce you to the fundamentals of crafting a balanced, elevated Old Fashioned—while showing you just how versatile the cocktail can be.
Think of it as your guide to the darker side of the Old Fashioned.
Together, we’ll explore:
- the anatomy of an Old Fashioned
- the role of dilution and balance
- how sugar, bitters, and spirit work together
- how to incorporate seasonal flavors and ingredients
- why the Old Fashioned is less of a recipe and more of a formula
During class, we’ll make three Old Fashioneds with an autumn-inspired twist:
- a bourbon Old Fashioned
- a reposado tequila Old Fashioned
- an aged rum Old Fashioned
Each one brings something different to the glass, from warm and spiced to rich and unexpected.
Don’t worry if you don’t have all three spirits — the recipes are fully interchangeable. Guests are welcome to work with just one spirit throughout the class or substitute with options like rye whiskey or gin.
Shortly after your purchase, you’ll receive:
- the Zoom link
- a prep guide
- a short grocery shopping list
- an Amazon supply list for tools and ingredients
So light a candle, pour yourself something good, and join us for a night of sips, stories, and seriously good cocktails.
